My gymnastics quest started 20 years ago when my mom signed me up because I was terrible at soccer.
From ages 5-12 I attended gymnastic classes for three nights a week and three hours a practice, year round. Starting to compete at Level 2 and finishing at Level 7, I had nothing but love for the integrity & discipline of personal accountability that the sport had taught me at such a young age.
Gymnastics was the best foundation I could have ever asked for in my developing years. Having the early advantage of lean strength and dynamic flexibility training had allowed me to excel in my sports journey as a teenager. Going onto play Football & Wrestling in high school and Division 1 Rugby in college, I was never injured and always playing.
I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelors in Business Management, have done 4 years in the CT Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer, and I’ve even lived in a dirty hut in the Hawaiian jungle for a year as a farm worker. When not at work I enjoying spending time reading, speed walking, eating oatmeal, lifting weights, hanging out with my plants (I have over 40 in my apartment), and even hanging out with my human friends.
